Dear colleagues,

It is a great joy for me to be able to present the III SERAM-ARRS 2023 Conference. “Advances in MRI” to be held on May 31 and June 1 and 2 in A Coruña. A city for strolling and recreation, presided over by the Tower of Hercules and with a long promenade that will welcome us for three days at the Exhibition and Congress Center (Palexco). In addition, we have a local committee that will help us to enjoy the city to the maximum in this new meeting.

This conference is the consolidation of an intense international activity of SERAM, with a first class scientific program and with both Spanish and American speakers who will present all the possibilities that MRI allows us in our daily lives.

The scientific program has been designed by choosing topics of interest that will help us to continue progressing in our specialty, which is undoubtedly at the forefront of new technologies and technological advances. In addition, at the present time, most of the centers in our country have new MRI equipment as a result of the European technological renovation plan. We hope that this conference will provide and expand as much knowledge as possible about this test.

Over the course of three days, topics from all subspecialties will be covered from the perspective of MRI, in order to be able to share more specifically the particularities in each of the areas. In addition, there will be a keynote speech and awards will be given to the best posters.

I hope that the scientific program will encourage everyone’s participation and allow us to learn from each other’s experience. We hope that this conference will be a new shared success for the radiological community, and that we will enjoy a few days of reunion and friendship.
